Long time no news post! Well its been a really good year for updates so far on my end - I don't think I've actually missed a week since christmas! Well I'm going to throw a spanner in the works now and say that CLM will be on hiatus over the summer this year. This is to allow me the time to work on my Rising Stars of Manga and Neo competition entries.

But never fear! CLM will be back with a vengence this winter to rock your world with more pirate antics! (and watch out for some snazzy new website graphics and character profiles for then too ^_^ )

So until the winter - farewell!

Happy New Year! A new year, a new little revamp of the site. I've gone through each page and slightly updated it, and also moved 2007's christmas specials over into the omake section so that the comic will read better ^_^

Expect a return to proper form with updates this year - hopefully I won't be moving house or having too many job dramas now, and I'm already 5 weeks ahead so hopefully we'll be back to regular Sunday updates from today!

Well iI really don't know what to write in this update except that I've been tinkering with the fanart section, its got a bit of a facelift. Plus there are 2 new fanarts to go and see, and they're both comics!

One pairs up my CLM characters with the super cute Harajuku Zoo characters of Sweatdrop Studios artist Joanna Zhou, and the other is an amazing 5 page comic by Nattherat which has been totally blowing my socks off on a daily basis since I recieved it (I made a desktop wallpaper out of the cover ^_^ ) - I highly recommend checking them out, in fact I'll link you straight to them ^_~

(by the way I actually have a strip for tomorrow's update! Plus, keep your eyes peeled for a Halloween special, coming very soon...)

*Phew!* long time no CLM! How many more times can I say sorry for the lack of updates? Well hopefully you're used to it by now ^_~ Guess what? This time between updates I had to have my car crushed! There's always something trying to get in the way of comic drawing *grr*

Anyway there's still no strip (I'll be putting some together in a bit tho - in fact I have been steadily producing things for CLM since the last update, you just haven't been able to see them yet unfortunately >.< ) but I am uploading the coloured happy birthday image now, celebrating 1 year of the little critters! *woo!* (erm...may it not be another year until the next update ^^;; )

Once again I have to apologise for a lack of strip, we were away at Amecon over last weekend and I just haven't found the time to draw one up yet - should be back in action on Sunday this week tho!

In other news there's a new omake image - part of the Pixel ID craze hitting DeviantArt recently. It took 3.5 days straight to draw and pixel up! (erm...not part of the reason there's no strip this week surely o.O; )

Apologies for the absence of new strips lately - I've been away for the last 2 entire weekends, and what with working all day etc. during the week, I just didn't have any extra time for drawing ;_;

Some exciting news today tho - 3 CLM strips have been printed in Neo Magazine! They are part of a 'How to' article by Morag Lewis (Sun Kitten) on webcomics - its issue 35 ^_^

Oh, and I've just resized the buttons on this page a bit so you can actually see this news section! ^_~

Welcome to the new look CLM site! I hope you like it and enjoy the comic! There are a few new sections available that weren't included on the original site, including Fanart and an FAQ, so please stop by and give them a perusal ^_^

Every single strip has also been re-sized again using a better technique, meaning they look better than ever!

There will be no weekly updates yet as I'm planning the next arc - I want to have a few strips under my belt before i start updating again, so I'll keep you posted ^_^
